Your ID card must not be broken or cracked, and the magnetic chip must be intact. It is your responsibility to ensure that your exit from the country is not blocked; no refunds will be given.
•Exit Fee: Every Turkish citizen over the age of 6 must pay a foreign exit fee of 710 TL.
•Photo on ID Cards: All participants, including babies, must have a photo on their ID card.
•Under 18: Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents. If one parent is not present, a notarized consent form is required.
Phone Use and Things to Consider at the Border
In Georgia, your phone line automatically switches to international roaming, and your bill may be very high. Therefore:
•We recommend that you put your phone in airplane mode after crossing the border and use only Wi-Fi. If mobile data is enabled, high charges may appear on your bill due to apps running in the background.
•If you wish, you can purchase an international package from your operator before your trip.
•Turkish operators charge between 279-400 TL per day for international use.
•For more economical options, you can also consider eSIM solutions (such as Holafly, Airalo).
Customs Regulations:
•Over-the-counter Medications: Do not carry medications without a prescription. If you have medications with a doctor's prescription, carry the prescription with you. Medications should be in tablet form and in quantities suitable for personal use.
•Cash and Jewelry: Do not carry large amounts of cash, gold, silver, or jewelry when crossing borders.
•When leaving Turkey: Cash exceeding 25,000 TL or 10,000 Euro, or gold/jewelry exceeding approximately 80 grams may be confiscated and subject to a fine if not declared.
Upon entering Georgia: Cash exceeding 10,000 USD and jewelry exceeding 5,000 Lari must be declared.
For your safety, it is best not to carry any jewelry with you at border crossings.
Remember: If you fail to comply with the above rules, you will be solely responsible for any customs, fines, or confiscation procedures that may arise. The tour company is not responsible for such situations.
