Day 1: Sürmene - Çaykara - Uzungöl
We meet at Rize Airport at 10:00 AM. At 11:00 AM, the group is completed with those joining from Trabzon Airport, and we set off to discover one of the Black Sea's iconic crafts.
Our first stop is Sürmene Knife Maker. The art of knife-making, which has been practiced since the Ottoman era, comes to life here in pieces crafted entirely by hand. This visit is not just shopping; it is witnessing the story of a deep-rooted craft.
Afterwards, we take a short break at the Çaykara Horse Farm, hidden in nature. We relax with activities such as swinging and horse riding, surrounded by nature. Then we reach one of the most impressive views on our route: Uzungöl.
We enjoy free time by the snow-covered lake, taking photos and admiring the view from the observation deck. The last stop of the day is the historic Kiremitli Bridge. This stone bridge, which has stood for hundreds of years, reflects the architectural heritage of the region.
In the evening, we arrive at our hotel in Çamlıhemşin. We spend a peaceful night surrounded by wooden textures in a mountain pasture atmosphere covered with snow.
Day 2: Ayder Plateau and Bulut Waterfall Under the Snow
After breakfast, we set off for the Tar River Valley for one of the region's most impressive nature walks. Depending on snow conditions, it takes about 45-60 minutes to reach the trailhead.
Normally reached in 45 minutes, Cloud Waterfall is about an hour's walk under the snow this season. At the end of this hike, filled with breathtaking views at every step, we stop for photos at the waterfall and return along the same trail.
We head to Ayder Plateau for lunch. Accompanied by snow-covered plateau houses and mountain air, we enjoy a warm meal with local delicacies before visiting Gelintülü Waterfall.
At the end of the day, we head towards Galerdüzü Plateau. We complete the day with a tea/coffee break accompanied by snowy landscapes and return to Çamlıhemşin for accommodation.
Day 3: Storm Valley, Zipline, Swing, ATV Tour, Çinçiva Village, Sevdaluk Bridge, Zilkale, Palovit Waterfall, and New Year's Celebration
Today we're not going too far; we're both relaxing and continuing our exploration.
We start the day with ziplining, swinging, and an ATV tour in Storm Valley. After an adrenaline-filled experience over the snow-covered valley, we head to Çinçiva Village, notable for its wooden architecture. Here we take a short village tour and stop for a photo break at Sevdaluk Bridge.
Then we climb up to the historic Zilkale on the mountainside. After enjoying the view, we take a short walk in the Şimşir Forests, then reach Palovit Waterfall.
We return to the hotel in the evening because a special night awaits us: New Year's Eve Dinner and Celebration. We welcome the new year with the spirit of the Black Sea, accompanied by bagpipes and horon dances.
Day 4: Çağlayan Valley, Laz Mansions, Çeçeva Tea Garden, Final Discoveries on the Way Back
On our last day, our route takes us to Fındıklı Çağlayan Valley. The morning nature walk begins with the sounds of birds and the tranquility of nature under the snow.
We then visit the Historic Laz Mansions. These wooden structures, with their unique architecture adapted to the region's rainy climate, allow us to get a closer look at Black Sea culture.
We conclude our journey at Çeçeva Tea Garden, one of Rize's most beloved stops. Those who wish can have their photos taken in traditional clothing, and we end this unique journey with local delicacies.
In the evening, we bid farewell with the return transfer. We say goodbye to the Black Sea with thousands of photos and warm memories in our hearts.
